Woods Case Study: Harnessing the Sun's Energy in Hove, East Sussex
Meeting the Challenge
Mr. Woods, like many homeowners, was initially using oil-filled panels on his roof solely for heating his hot water. However, with the escalating costs of energy, he sought to make a change. He wanted a more efficient and cost-effective system that could do more than just heat water.

We installed 10 Energizer 390w solar panels, a Milec Solar iBoost, an Emlite 1 Generation Meter, and a Schletter Mounting System.
To maximise the efficiency of this new system, we provided an Iboost system with his installation. The Iboost system diverts any excess energy generated from the panels, which is not being utilised in the home, to his hot water system. Instead of receiving a small export generation payment, Mr. Woods now uses the excess energy to heat his water, making the most of his new solar PV system.
